Ahead of the Met Gala theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” vintage store What Goes Around Comes Around hosted the Karl Lagerfeld Retrospective with super model Helena Christensen on April 28, 2023.
The brand, co-founded by Gerard Maione and Seth Weisser, brought together their archivists to pull together pieces designed throughout the late Karl’s career, who was best known as the creative director of Chanel, but also designed for Fendi, Chloé, Patou and his own namesake line. WGACA’s Atelier on Wooster Street has the exuqisite pieces on display, including ready to wear from Chanel, Fendi and more among the 2000 pieces.
